Department of Computer Science & Engineering

The computer Science and Engineering department enjoys the highest employment potential today. Hence the department gives equal importance to the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject area. Open source software is used exclusively to promote research and hands on software development. High speed leased line serves all computers connected in a network. College administration software CampusSoft, Dynamic repository DSpace, teaching support software Moodle, Library administration Libsoft etc are managed by the department in the open platform in an academic environment. Consultancy work is encouraged and students and faculty take up projects for the benefit of industry and community.
