Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Mechanical Engineering Department with its excellent facilities and experienced faculty offers comprehensive courses with extensive training. Our laboratories, encompassing the vital aspects of Mechanical Engineering, are well equipped to develop the fundamental skills of conducting experiments and analysing and interpreting data. Extracurricular activities are given due importance to develop the ability to communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams working to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems. Industrial visits and educational tours are made an integral part of the curriculum to familiarise the students with industrial environments and working conditions. Research and development activities in various innovative and emerging fields of Mechanical Engineering are our future goals.
