A scheme for waiver of the tuition fee for all the four years of the B.Tech course, promulgated by AICTE and sanctioned by Govt. of Kerala, has been adopted by RIET for implementation among the students. Meritorious students belonging to financially backward category whose annual income is upto Rs. 2.50 lakhs, physically challenged students and women students. Five percent of the total students are eligible to enjoy the benefit of this scheme. RIET has been implementing this scheme since its inception.
