The laboratories are well equipped with sophisticated and excellent facilities available to the students. The Electronics and Electrical labs possess the latest, state-of-the-art apparatus to enhance the practical-related skills of the students. Computer lab has a state of the art computer centre with a campus wide network. The requirements for practical training in any professional course of study are very specific and detailed. For an Engineering Course of study, the first year requires hands-on training in the various basic engineering areas such as carpentry, smithy, foundry, electrical, ch;il, mechanical fitting, plumbing, welding and such other related fields. For this purpose, a consolidated operation area in the form of a workshop is available. From the second year onwards, each specialization will have its own Laboratory provided with all the prescribed instruments, equipments and machinery for detailed hands-on study. Thus there are Practical Survey Lab, Strength of Materials Lab, Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics Lab, Heat Engines and Thermal Lab, Concrete Lab, Basic Electronics Lab, Communication Lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab, Electrical Lab, General Computer Lab, CAD Lab for Civil as well as Mechanical branches. The final requirements of Laboratories for the fourth year of study, especially the Environmental Lab, Geotechnical Lab, Transportation Lab, and so on are in the offing.
