It has been the long cherished desire of Indira Charitable trust to establish an Institute of higher learning in a rural area, provided with all facilities for Engineering and Technology study, encouraging all those who are found to be enthusiastic, inquisitive and industrious and having a bend of mind for Research in their areas of specialization. The first step towards this ambition has materialized with the establishment of a full-fledged Engineering College in the year 2009-10. Starting with 4 of the important branches of Engineering and with the timely approval from AICTE for one more additional Course, the College has now achieved what is known as an ‘overcoming the initial hurdles and teething troubles’ for a bigger take-off. The 5 branches of Engineering are going on in full swing and sooner the first batch will be on their toes for mini projects and course-end projects. It was at this juncture that the idea of initiating necessary actions for establishing an integrated Research & Development Centre has occurred to the Management in its strife for excellence in the study and propagation of Science, Technology and Engineering. It was therefore decided to moot this proposal for sanction from the associated functionaries
