Computer Science & Engg

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering provide a sound foundation of theoretical concepts, in-depth working knowledge of technology and hands-on experience in computer hardware and software. It helps students  to explore emerging trends and improve analytical and creative skills.

It Provide quality education in the field of Computer Science & Engineering by training the students to investigate and analyse the engineering problems and thus equip them with necessary skills to design and develop computing solutions for the real world problems.

Well-equipped with sophisticated and excellent facilities available to the students on an individual basis and also provides a wide range of network computing and files storage services. The network served by high end Linux and Windows Servers running on latest software. A High Speed internet facility is provided to all the systems to provide internet access to the faculties and students. A dedicated Project Lab is also there for doing projects

A dedicated Internet Lab is also provided with 48Mbps leased line connectivity for student internet usage. The students can use this lab from 8:30 AM to 7 PM.

All the computers in the campus, including those in the hostels and department are connected by means of a structured network so that the students from the hostel and the staff and students from different departments can have direct access to the facilities in the Computer Center round the clock.

5 day faculty development programme on Advances in Machine Learning and Deep Learning during 17-21 December 2018

The department of Computer Science and Engineering  successfully organised and conducted a 5 day faculty development programme on Advances in Machine Learning and Deep Learning during 17-21 December 2018.The entire programme was sponsored by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University(KTU) and well attended by 30 faculty members across the state. The main objective  of this FDP was to expose the faculty members  in emerging technologies and also hands on familiarity in the area of  Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
