About the Programme

“Rajadhani Ideathon 2021” is a grant idea presentation competition organised by Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology, Trivandrum in association with AICTE IDEA LAB-RIET, IIC (Institution’s Innovation Council), UNAI (United Nations Academic Impact) and KFUNAI (Kerala FORUM on United Nations Academic Impact) for the high school and higher secondary students all over Kerala.

Now, after the very successful completion of science exhibition programme titled “Rajadhani Science Expo 2K19”, Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology is proudly organizing another grant idea presentation competition – “Rajadhani Ideathon 2021“ for the high school and higher secondary students all over Kerala.

Registration Details

Participants should register through the Google form.
There is no registration fee.
This is a team participation challenge. You can have 2 to 4 members in your team.
The event will be conducted separately for High School and Higher Secondary students.
Only school students can register (CBSE/ State). They need to bring their ID card at the time of presentation.
A draft idea should be uploaded in the Google form in any of the following format:

Power point (PPT) ( Maximum 5 slides)
Word Doc. (Maximum 1-2 pages)

Important Dates

Last date for submission of online Registration form : 05/11/2021
Idea presentation of the selected Participants : 10/11/2021
Final presentation on : 18/11/2021 and19/11/2021

Evaluation Process Details:

You are expected to come up with new and innovative ideas; any idea that has been copied from somewhere will be disqualified.
There will be an initial screening of ‘Idea presentation’ by our Technical Panel.
Only the selected participants will be invited to for the final presentation before the Evaluation Committee (Offline presentation at RIET Campus).
The maximum duration of the presentation should be 10 minutes followed by 2 minutes discussion.
All projects will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on the following criteria:

Social Relevance
Novelty of the idea
Viability of the idea

More weightage will be given to virtual/real models.

Prize Details

Our Technical Panel select the top 3 teams both from higher secondary & high School levels.

For Higher-secondary students

First Prize : Rs. 15000
Second Prize : Rs. 10000
Third Prize : Rs. 5000

For High School students

First Prize : Rs. 15000
Second Prize : Rs. 10000
Third Prize : Rs. 5000

All the participants will be awarded with participation certificate.
The best ideas will be supported with business incubation.
Selected students will be provided with Scholarship for getting admissions at Rajadhani group of Institutions.
